SCOTSMAN MC1848SR-32
The Scotsman MC1848SR-32 Prodigy ELITE® half-cube ice maker is air cooled and engineered to be used with a remote condenser separately. Using this type of unit lets the operator place the condensing unit outside to displace heat and noise. To make as much as 1,828 pounds of ice daily, it utilizes R404A refrigerant, and it produces ice cubes that are small in size. Streamlined cleaning of this unit is provided with one-touch cleaning technology, and the exterior is coated with AgION™ antimicrobial to reduce the spread of germs. Ice in the unit is kept clean as well using WaterSense adjustable purge controls.
If employees want to view warranty history and other key information, they can scan the included QR code that's specific to the Scotsman MC1848SR-32 ice machine head. Other important information such as the system's status can be found on the front panel. The panel has AutoAlert™ lights that ensure employees know the current operation status of the unit. To provide durability, the front exterior has a stainless-steel finish.
THE BIN
The Scotsman B948S ice storage bin is a tough, durable solution to ice storage that is rated to hold up to 893 lb. of ice. A perfect match to the Prodigy® line of ice cubers, this 48" bin features a sleek design that will blend in with your establishment while holding all the ice you need.
This lightweight bin is made of polyethylene and durable rotocast plastic that is safe and sanitary to use with your ice. The interior insulation is made with polyurethane pressed between the outer wall and the liner to maintain your supply of ice for a long time. The liner itself, made from polyethylene, is easily cleaned and resistant to scuffs and dents from ice or ice scoops to keep your ice bin in great condition for as long as possible.
Built with a removable baffle, you don't need any tools to clean this ice bin. The spring loaded door with hinges for easy opening and closing as well as the built-in ice scoop holder make it easy to use this ice bin.
- Includes a recessed drain for easy installation
- Made of corrosion-resistant material
- Includes an ice scoop
- .75 NPT bin drainTHE REMOTE CONDENSOR
When paired with a compatible Scotsman cuber, flaker or nugget ice machine, this Scotsman ERC611-32A air cooled remote condenser is a terrific option to cut down on noise inside the building! When connected to your ice machine via a remote tubing line kit. this remote condenser system effectively dissipates heat at a convenient location, indoors or outdoors, away from the ice machine for maximum production. Not only does this move distracting noise away from the indoor setting, you will also save on cooling costs because hot exhaust won't be heating the indoor air.
This remote condenser operates in outdoor temperature ranges from -20 degrees Fahrenheit to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Its heavy gauge galvanized steel is ideal for outdoor use and helps prevent corrosion. Thermally protected fan motors, PVC-coated steel fan guards and direct drive fan blades make this a durable unit to hold up in rigorous everyday use.
